A wine shaped as much by patience as by place.

The Wine

The inaugural 2019 Tucker Family Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted exclusively from estate-grown fruit in the Coombsville region of Napa Valley.

Sourced from Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon—known for its loose clusters and small berries—the fruit yields wines of remarkable depth, color, and concentration, with a natural structure that reflects both the vineyard and the vintage.

Proprietor David Tucker and Winemaker Kian Tavakoli approach each vintage with a focus on balance and restraint. The result is a Cabernet that expresses classic varietal character while remaining composed and approachable in its early years, yet structured to evolve gracefully over a decade or more in bottle.

To preserve the purity and nuance of the Coombsville AVA, the wine is aged in 100% French oak barrels, with only 25% new oak—allowing the fruit to remain the focal point while adding subtle complexity and texture.
